That tv corner is awkward. Can you get high, corner piece, that is light and airy, and more contemporary. Something you can put the tv on, and the tv could have a cabinet underneath, and maybe a couple of shelves above. I do think that it should white, and modern . The corner looks bottom heavy, and white or some other light color that is close to the wall color would look much better. The windows look nice and clean, and let the natural light in. At most i might put a mesh shade in the a color close to the wall color, or something in a natural bamboo look. I can't see what is on the leather chairs, but they could use a pillow, maybe in bright mongolian lamb, ( they have many on this website for sale ), but I would keep the backgrounds of the room, which means basically, the floor and walls ( which forms an envelope ), and bring in color on the pillows, or throw, and art work that is either black and white photography, or high color art work, that shows up somewhat solid. Nothing faded, or feminine. The room has good bones, and it needs strength.

A round or square end table big enough to provide useful space for both sofa and loveseat would work, with a large lamp. I have a couple of live plants under a similar mini-split ac unit and also near hear registers and they don’t seem bothered as long as i don’t let them dry out. Some pillows that pull the color from the very pretty rug would be nice, maybe the pink? Or green? Drapery panels can often make the difference between a comfortable room and a cozy room that feels finished IMO. You might want to check out curtains in linen or cotton from Ikea or Target, they’re quite inexpensive and look decent for the money. Mount the rods near the ceiling molding and have the drape just barely touch the floor. You may have to shorten, they make iron on tape that make it easy to hem without needing to sew. A cream color would look nice with your gold-beige walls. Mount the rods wide enough to push the drapes back off the glass for maximum light and views when they’re open. You may never need to close them as you have blind for light and privacy control. hope this helps.

Since this dining area is right next to the kitchen, maybe a different type of window covering would be better than drapes. Roman shades would give you an opportunity to add color and pattern. Or you can buy drapes that aren't a solid color. Do you have issues with privacy or light control in this room? I like the round table. It seems like you could go up a size and have four chairs but then you would need a larger rug. A rug is another way to add pattern and color. A lot of different colors go with black and white, so bring home some samples or buy items you can return if necessary and see what you like. Do you use colors in adjacent rooms that you could bring in to this space?

To maximize your space the bench should remain on the wall side, with people sitting there, be sure anything you hang is high enough. Your table and new chandy--very different vibes. Glad you are swapping out the long shag carpet. Under a dining space I would go with nothing but the flatter the better for chairs moving, food collecting. Sorry but I would rethink the gray. You need something that brings life to the space and gray will do the opposite. Once you find proper curtain panels it may change what you want to hand on the walls. Nothing looks cheaper than slatted blinds. The panels can add a lot of softness and movement to your room if you choose a pattern. Then you can pull the lightest color from the curtains to put on the wall.
