Dacor modernist induction + Miele wall ovens

We are meeting with our designer/builder for a kickoff meeting on Oct 24 and would like to have a pretty good idea of our appliance choices to help inform the new kitchen layout. Our kitchen is about 35 years old and we are planning a full remodel. We currently have electric ceramic cooktop (with electric grill) and stacked microwave + 26” wall oven (all Jennair from 1984).

We’ve been looking at appliances for the past 1-2 months, and thought we had decided on the following:
Bluestar 36” rangetop with 13” griddle
Bluestar single 30” wall oven
Bluestar 36” built in fridge (love the SS interior)
Miele or Bosch dishwasher

We went to our appliance showroom yesterday to do a test cook on their bluestar range (omelets and boiling water). The omelet turned out great (lol not like we expected otherwise) and the water boiled much faster than our electric range. Then on a whim, we decided to test the Thermador Freedom induction cooktop in the adjacent kitchen.

Two hours later, all our plans had changed! We’re now planning to go with induction. The demo chef at the showroom really loved the Dacor Modernist induction cooktop they’ve had on display for the past 3 years, and we liked it better than the other brands we saw (and it’s a way better price point than the Thermador Freedom, which we also loved). We really wish the Miele 7000 induction cooktops were available in the US.... but that looks like a dream.

Here’s our new plan:
Dacor Modernist 36” induction cooktop
Miele CSO (thinking 18”)
Miele 30” wall oven (mtouch)
Miele 7000 series dishwasher
Bluestar 36” built in fridge/freezer

Any experience/concerns with these appliances?
