Need help choosing a front foyer light

I am trying to pick a new light for our front foyer... the current one has bulbs that continually burn out even though they are led (thinking it has something to do with the dimmer switch) but I want something a bit different anyways. The last pic is a pic of what I will be doing our kitchen with the similar light. My dilema is ... do I keep all the lights in the house the same metal ... all chrome? Or can I mix and match and do a gold or black for the front foyer ??? I’ll also need to change out the boob lights in the hallways so I am thinking they will have to be similar in tone cause they are in close proximity. The kitchen is in a seperate area so you cant see the hall/foyer lights from the kitchen. I like something a bit modern and a bit unique and my ceilings are only 8 feet so it wouldn’t be able to be too long either.

If you don’t want to redo everything throughout the house (very $$$) why don’t You look for a light that incorporates the metals from the spaces that are visible from your foyer? I see that your City Chic pic has 2 metals. You could probably find one that has some chrome along with other metals. As for the bulbs, make sure whatever you choose clearly says “dimmable” if that is what you want.

If you have 8’ ceilings, then the only option you posted that might work is the first, the others would be too low.

caminnc - i was looking at 1068 (squire hill buff)but it was a little too dark. my painter lightened it up with some white and it's better. I'm just afraid it looks a little too orange or pink. I'm trying to find a nice beige color with a little gold in it without getting too orange. Someone mentioned bone white which I have in a bedroom and I really like. I was just looking for a little more color than that.

Is that a Kalco fixture? I looked at one in what I think it that same collection and loved it. The way it was hanging in the store reminded me of outdoor lanterns and I imagined camping and fireflies. Silly, I know, but talk about bringing the outdoors in! LOL It would be hanging in my breakfast room right now if it went with the kitchen fixture or I knew what to replace that one with. I suspect it may not be as large as your current fixture, but it has strong, simple lines and color, so I think it will still make a statement. The current one might be a bit too large for me anyway. I'd try to get measurements on that one if you can so you will have a better idea how it compares. If you want to hang it a little lower, you can probably order an extra down rod. I think it's worth pulling out the ladder and the measuring tape.

I don't usually post here, but we put a Moravian star in our lakehouse, centered in the small window above the porch. It is 24 inches wide, and it fits the space perfectly. Here's a bad pic (only one I had) to illustrate it. Frankly, if I were you, I'd put it on your porch, where they were traditionally used. Your double window will obscure much of it, and will destroy the illusion of that window being part of the 2nd floor, making a more contemporary exterior appearance of a 2 story entry.

I was going to suggest White Dove. Another option is Benjamin Moore Cloud White. Chantilly Lace OC-65 Here is a sample of these three popular colors with their shades.

i do love the mixed metals with the city chic photo unfortunately it’s out of my price range. Just looking to see if anyone in decor had any other suggestions or designs to look at.
