Abies concolor in coastal conditions

We have been growing 2 small Abies concolor ”Fagerhult” close to the wild coast in the west of Ireland for about a year and so far so good but then I just read that they are salt sensitive. I wonder if the ocean spray will eventually affect them. We also tried eastern white pine but they got bad tip browning on the needles so now switching to western white pine. Does any of ye have any experience of Abies concolor under coastal conditions? Also any suggestion for other coast friendly weeping varieties are most welcome.
