I just looked at my receipt and it says: CORETEC PRO PLUS - 7-1/4"X48 So I guess it's not the enhanced version. What are the flooring places saying "enhanced" means? Enhanced wear layer, something about the color?

I have Wiltshire Oak and I love it. There is some variation but enough to give it character. It also appears that some of the pics are not Coretec Pro Plus Wiltshire. These are long wide planks. Not short and thin. I have three dogs who run and play on it. No scratches. It’s very easy to clean.

I need some information. The place that Coretec recommended for rug pads is out of stock on everything and has been for awhile. Today the painters came to do the baseboard and quarter round. They would not move my refrigerator out to do the baseboard and quarter round. They did not want to chance scratching the floors. We have always moved our refrigerator and stove to clean under and behind. This is not going to work for us. We are elderly and should not have to deal with this. They said to put all these felt pads under everyrhing. The chairs last a day or two and pads came off the chairs and they were stuck to the floor. Then had to clean the pads and the glue off my floors. We are careful. My husband is not happy at all. Too much care. Cant get a rug pad to put under a rug for under the table and chairs. At least with carpet didn't have to deal with this. Anyone else have regrets. Also my husband was wearing socks. Everyday at the end of the day he had big holes in the bottoms of his socks. At first we didnt realize it was the floors. We bought new socks the same thing. Had to buy a pair of house slippers to wear in the house or replace socks everyday. Is anyone else dealing with this.

All of the COREtec products with the "Pro" name have a solid polymer core (SPC). The others, besides their "Stone" offerings, have a wood polymer core (WPC). SPCs are harder, more durable, and more dent resistant. The WPCs are warmer, quieter, and softer underfoot. Enhanced means painted bevels and embossed in register. Embossed in register is where the texture on the planking matches the grain and knotholes. I hope this helps!
