Comments (3)The search funtion on Gardenweb doesn't work very well. I think posts need to be at least a few days old before they show up that way. Alternatively you can try to search in Google for it....and I found it that way. Comments (2)Kodak, the island is 3.5' wide and 7.5' long. The kitchen itself is 14.5' wide: that's the width from the widest part, measuring from wall to wall. The width measured from cabinet to cabinet (the actual "walking" space), is just shy of 11'. The kitchen is 15' long to the end of the island.
