Exterior color is pretty bold as is.. maybe Red door, or painting the the white black?

I'd actually switch out your door to something a bit more modern, that matches the rest of the house

You'll have to play around w/the colors, I realize the purple pots may not be your thing but you need something tall over on that end

a more modern style door, either wood or painted a nice color, a porch light and more modern address numbers.

then bring in the colorful pots to go with it

your door could be any of these colors

mother bear, you know what would look cool on the front porch area off to the right in that space against the house? A water feature. maybe a bubbling urn

then you could do some seating around the area

for the flower beds, maybe try something like this

you could also think about doing a raised bench or a little border around the outside portion of that patio (where it butts up to the driveway) just to 'enclose' the space a little bit
