Front Door, porch and shutter colors... help!
Comments (16)Here are a few ideas! Although where I am living, Utah, all the new house trends are white houses with dark windows....aka the farmhouse industrial look! But there are so many looks. Teal with cream trim and yellow/green door Deep blue Rich chocolate brown Mossy green with crisp white Charcoal grey with crisp white trim and red accents in landscape...See MoreAdvice needed for gutters/shutters on a white brick house
Comments (10)Thanks everyone for your comments. I think those grey/green shutters could be an option for us. I like the look of darker gutters (not black, more iron ore or copper), but starting to think that the uneven gutter coverage on the front of the house will just look odd unless we also do dark trim on the peaks of the house. Since we want to avoid painting the trim it might just be easier to go with white and add color/character via shutters...See MoreHelp with 1980s traditional brick home trim paint advice
Comments (4)Try going much darker paint on the siding and garage doors. Similar to the front door. (Beautiful door btw) Shutters either painted black or the dark stained cedar is quite popular. Add 3 new exterior fixtures at minimum 30” in a black iron modern style. Use false garage door hardware in the same finish. I would also beef up the columns. You have great curb appeal! Enjoy your new home...See MoreExterior colors for red brick rambler
Comments (15)Those shingles are too big and rustic for that smallish space...I would replace them with smaller... non wooden ones...or perhaps siding...as either will look crisper, ...more proportionate with the brick....a good accent color with brick would be a green shade that ties in with the setting better and is a more naturally earthy color to complement the brick and the surroundings...See Moreorion24n
