can anyone identify this tree for me?

Hi this is a branch from a small tree beside our carport. I am debating on cutting down this tree as it is in the middle of a part shade flower bed. We have lived at our current house 5 years so I don’t know how old it is. I live in a zone 6 and is is semi evergreen. It does get small green olive appearing fruit. Bark is smooth. I thought it might be a young ash but the fruit doesn’t look the same. Any ideas?
