Really! We need to know what is going into the space wall color is the last thing to choose. BTW carpet with kids is just a gross choice and at least show the spaces you are wanting paint color for.

Can you show a picture of the rooms you want to paint? And the furnishings/textiles that you plan to use? Usually paint is the last thing you choose...

We need to see pictures of the rooms, and the furniture that goes in them for color. I dont think carpet for little ones like that is gross, unless its dirty carpet. Carpeting is much safer for little ones, learning how to crawl, and playing around in their room.

It’s really a new house we purchased unfortunately we need to paint first and work on furnishing so was just looking for ideas on good neutral but fun color for 2 boys rooms. 1 newborn and a one year old

Okay, I see that it might make sense to paint first in your situation. So, I would use white for the walls, and then have color fun with the art and textiles. Something like this:
