Help pick wall color for kitchen with Mexican tiles?

What wall color in a room a backsplash using these tiles?

Anybody feel like starting the week with a LOT of color? I've been here often over the years saying I would know the perfect tile when I saw them and my whole kitchen design would flow from there. Well, I've found them. These tiles—Talavera patterns, but made Majolica-style on a white ground for clearer colors and with more regular shapes—make me insanely happy (quite a task in 2020). The new kitchen will be a square room with two walls of cabinets and appliances in L shape and two walls without built-ins where I can arrange and rearrange a kitchen table and a little comfy seating for my morning coffee and to park guests in while I cook. That will allow quite a bit of paintable wall space: two 15' runs of wall, with lots of windows. The room will face south, with windows on three sides, so lots of light.

Cabinets will probably be maple, but I haven't committed yet and could be talked into painted cabinets, maybe...Counters and floors tbd, and we could also think about those colors as we think about wall colors. Despite lots of color and the rustic(ish) tiles, I am not interested in a full-on Mediterranean farm look, but rather what I like to think of as "warm modern."
