I don’t recall seeing a post from her in a long time. I hope she’s doing well.

I think she's ok, Donna. Her daughter moved in with her along with 2 little grands. I think her sewing is taking a back seat for awhile. Not sure, but her sewing room might be a different kind of room for now. :-)

Thanks for the info and offers, everyone-- I used to see this green arboricola for sale everywhere, but this season it seems that only the variegated stuff is out there. Maybe the colorful stuff was found to be more popular here in Naples. I wonder if philodendron selloum would be a nice substitute-- still tropical looking, a similar green color... I might try this if I don't find the arboricola around.

Janice, I used to have to fly into Indy when I came up, but now there are direct flights to South Bend and Fort Wayne, so I go there. We don't drive up like we used to - too old and 2 hour flight opposed to all that time, road stress, gasoline and motel charges doesn't seem worth it. Linda, I hope to be able to come up for your guild show next June so hopefully we can spend a little more time together. I didn't get to Shipshe this year, but there's a new Farmer's Market that's like a mini Shipshe close to the US20 by-pass just South of Elkhart if anyone is interested. It's all indoors and 3 levels. The lower level is a restaurant (I want to go back for that) and booths selling all kinds of food....cheese, baked goods, their jellies and jams, pastas, meats, fresh veggies, etc. The second floor has all the crafts. The third floor are offices and it looks like they can expand for more booths.....and from the way I saw things, they will have to do that. There were a few booths outside, too. There were a few quilty booths but I didn't see any selling fabric. I would like to go back and spend more time, as I only had an hour. Another thing to do next year. SharonG/FL-IN

Linda, Glad to see you posted!!!! I was going thru some of my quilt books and found one I bought when I lived in Indiana called Quilts of Indiana - Crossroads of Memories. It looks like it was put out by The Indiana Quilt Registry Project, Inc. If you want it, you can have it....or give it to your quilt guild. I'll bring it up in June.....if I can remember. Hi everyone!

I am OK. Thank you for thinking of me,

Things have been a bit crazy here. They sold the house and my DD and her girls are living here. The girls go with their dad to his girlfriend's house 3 days a week. (This is killing me.) Sami is in first grade and doing remote school.

Today is their 12th anniversary. The divorce is still not final. I will be glad when that is over. I never thought I would say that, but the arguing is awful.

I still have my sewing room but not as much time to sew. I have had a quilt on the frame that I started to quilt. (Bonnie Hunter's covid mystery) I need to finish that and move on. Yesterday I made four sewing machine blocks from MSQC. Jenny Doan made a video for this block. I am going to make sewing machine covers with my blocks. I have two old machines that don't have hard covers. They are sitting in my sewing room and I have been wanting to make covers for them.
