Europe's homeless go hungry amid pandemic as shelters/charities close

Will there be starvation?
Is this a turning point in the history of Europe? There hasn't been real starvation in Europe for over 70 years before now.

Are you choosing to be disingenuous?

That’s disappointing.

Are you concerned they will be taking future revenue away from Planned Parenthood?

are you concerned that hysterectomies are being performed on women without their knowledge or consent?

Same problems as in the US.

I see that clip was posted on April 2, right as things were going into lockdown. Somehow, I think if there'd been mass starvation, we would know about it by now. I'd say, by and large, Europe takes better care of its homeless than the US does (and doesn't force them to have hysterectomies) but the OP doesn't seem to think US shortcomings represent a "turning point in the history" of the US.

So, another one here that needs a date check on a linked resource.

It looks like already one migrant mother and child have died due to starvation:

Why did you not know about her and send her food or money to purchase it? From your posting it appears you want people to do something, so lead.

From the OPs second link:

"Campaigners warn that her death was an 'inevitable consequence' of the government’s immigration policies – which they say has forced voluntary organisations to 'subsidise' support that should be provided by the state – and called for a welfare system 'based on need, not immigration status'."

So, does the US provide financial assistance to anyone in need, irrespective of whether they are in the country legally or not? That would be a no. So perhaps the OP should direct her concerns to her own authorities before worrying about what the rest of the world is doing.

You don't have to be homeless to be food insecure. According to USDA 12% of Americans are food insecure.

"Looks like someone is desparately searching for stories to fit her agenda. Sad."

Looks like that could apply to every thread around here.

Some of the threads are at least relevant to whatever point the OP is trying to make.

Food insecurity is not starving.

The undeniable results of socialism? Really? That illegal migrants and the homeless have to rely on charity in tough times? Sounds very American to me.

This OP’s capacity for lurid fantasies supporting their skewed view of the world appears unbounded. Must be a scary way to live.
