CoreTEC Plus XL-E Fairweather Oak / Harrison Oak...Bevel or No Bevel?
Comments (13)Hi DW- I love Coretec! I have used it in several applications including this Hair Salon, but also in a residential space. The color I used in both of these projects I am including here is Blackstone Oak, and it was selected because both of my clients wanted it to read Warm and cool, and this flooring had a nice mix of the two colors. With regard to the bevel, I would recommend avoiding it, as it does tend to make it harder to keep clean. While Coretec offers a lifetime warranty in a residential installation (assuming your installer does it to specs), but the bevels, while they are trendy, tend to show wear sooner since it exposes other areas of the flooring moreso than others, and dirt tends to get stuck inside of the creases more often. Good luck with your project! Sounds like you're on the right track! This is the blackstone oak in a residential installation. This is the same flooring in a Hair Salon Commercial installation. Both with out bevels so it will stay nice longer! Good luck on your project!...See MoreNew Cortec Grande LVP
Comments (11)We had planned to install the Coretec Grande Lotte Oak (installed in kitchen only); however have ultimately chosen to go with a lighter color - the Makkah Oak -- in remainder of home. I have approx 1,500 sq ft available for sale -- willing to offer deeply discounted pricing. We are located in WI but can ship. Pls contact me at jwire@tds.net if interested....See MoreHas anyone installed Core-tec plus premium or Grande series

If anyone has installed and could share pics/ reviews, I’d really appreciate it! Have read other discussions on the Coe tec flooring and everyone has been so helpful. Has anyone installed the Coretta oak? Thanks!...See MoreLeathered Blue Dunes Granite kitchen ideas
Comments (76)At Judith Young. Oops, just seeing your 4/2023 post asking about my leathered “iced / polished” blue dunes granite. Your project is probably complete by now, but maybe this will help someone else reading the post. Iced/ polished is an added process after granite is leathered that a fabricator does in the workshop prior to installation. They told me he gently polishes the raised portions of leathered slab to give it a subtle sheen. It is hard to capture it exactly in any photos, but is very obvious in real life. My granite counters are extremely low maintenance in every aspect. No pampering. The slabs I found in the stone yard were already leathered & iced, otherwise they would be an up charge for this final process....See MoreRelated Professionals
