I don't know about middle east, but yes, those are common in europe. Because washing with water is cleaner than wiping with paper after a #2. If there is a showerhead next to the toilet, as in the picture, it's called a douche. If there is a separate toilet bowl looking thing, it's a bidet. You probably seen those before. I think they are just too messy, so I like the japanese way where there is a automatic water wash system build into the toilet. I have been using them for years now and love it. Toto has one called Washlet. Kohler has the Numi and Duravit has the sensowash. They are more common now and a lot more brands carry them, even costco has them.(not by toto or duravit).. If you want one, Toto is probably the best..

A little history in this nightmare: The contractor completely demolished our bathroom and started from scratch. He built up a new shower with new drainage, (from bathtub to stall shower)replaced the old toilet with a new one, tiled the shower (many a problem there too) and floor. When we initially saw the water stain in the closet, we cut away the entire drywall ceiling of the downstairs closet to see what exactly is leaking. It was discovered that the shower drain was leaking when my husband poured water down the drain and it poured into the drip pan we placed on the shelf in the closet. Now we have to hire a plumber to come out and re-do the drainage for the shower as the guy improperly "glued" the p-trap under the floor. ALL THE MATERIALS were purchased by him for the shower (on our dime of course). As for the toilet, we bought the toilet and wax ring (the best one available at Home Depot). It's not the ring, or the toilet. Now that the toilet has been properly installed by my husband AND the contractor, it doesn't leak; but the shower still does.

I think AirBnB is different from VRBO, and so we may use VRBO, which might require me to be the agent. If one is using an agent for the rental, then it is illegal for the agent to deny children, but if the owner is the agent and owns fewer than three rental properties, then the owner can restrict his property to adults only. Cathedral City is not really a place that children would want to go - in fact, the owners of the house are selling it because their children refuse to visit there. If we have to offer it to children, I will raise the amount of the deposit, refuse to allow pets (which is perfectly legal), and offer it as a two-bedroom instead of three. The third bedroom is an office at the moment, and so I can easily list it as two-bedroom. I don't want a crowd of people there at one time anyway, and as a two-bedroom, no more than four people would be allowed to occupy it, by CC regulations. We do not need the extra money from six vs four people, but we do need some income from this property, since I am retired. We will, however, be interested in renting to people who attend the Coachella Festival, and the rents for that time period are the highest, but everything still gets booked solid. My sister's stepson in Austin owns several houses (that his father bought for him), and he makes $30K during SXSW. Kevin and I make a point of avoiding visiting our sister during this time, even though it is close to Kevin's birthday in March, and March plus October are the nicest months in Austin for weather. I did a house with a small bathroom where the sink was next to the wall and the toilet between sink and tub. The only place for a permanently mounted roll was on the back wall which is extremely inconvenient for adults and a surefire issue for youngsters. The toilet paper stand worked great. If there is convenient space on the sidewall of the room, that would be my choice of location otherwise, freestanding holder.
