Although it has not been delivered yet I made a purchase of bedroom furniture from Lexington of Kentucky. The manufacturer is Hickory White and the collection is American Home. Not quite as simple as Louis Phillppe but certainly not ornate. My purchase was tall dresser, night stand, bachelor chest and armoire. Total including shippping will run approx. $5000. I did not purchase a bed. Lexington got good reviews here on this site. If you go to their website you can view many manufacturers. Hickory White's website, the last time I checked, was still under construction. Hickory White is not super high end but probably would be considered slightly above mid price. I will post again when I take delivery.

There are plenty of photos of Queen size beds jammed into corners if you Google. I would not call any of them "inspiration" pictures. If it was a twin bed for a child's room, I would say to do bolsters on both walls but that would not really look right with a Queen size. There are Queen size platform beds on stilts, with a desk or couch or other living space underneath. This solution is great for studio apartment living, but I don't know if that is what you need for a bedroom in a home. If the bed absolutley has to be in the corner I would do something light and airy. No headboard to define it. I like this idea of an attached night stand to bring the bed "around the room". Note that the nighstand floats. You could make the nightstand longer even. It would take away the 'jammed in the corner feel'. Also notice how the platform base is much smaller than the bed to give a light weight feel. You do not want it looking like a big box on the floor. When you build your bed take into account how you will have to make up the bed with linens and have some access between the wall and the bed. Another option for the bed is to have the foot/head board go all the way to the ceiling forming a wall making the bed an encove. I've seen this done on a decorating show where they put the bed in the middle of the room and had both the headboard and the foot board go to the ceiling. Could you consider a round bed? You can have a futon or mattress custom made. Most futons are made to order anyway. Google *round bed*. Some of them look nice in a comtemporary setting and some are hilarious.

I know this sounds odd, but I would remove the final pointy ends from the posts on the bed, as on your first inspiration photo. To me it looks very odd. I would definitely do simple curtain panels reaching to the floor and also a rug to give some softness to this room with so much wood. Perhaps very light blue walls with a green and cream bedspread and cream curtains.

The answer is that it isn’t worth much except that it appears to be good quality furniture. If you like it and can use it that is the value since good quality furniture is expensive The first photo is Arts & Crafts in style and is still popular. Check out Stickley furniture amd you will get a sense of how much the new stuff sells for. Not that you should decorate with stuff you don’t like but that style - Craftsman, Mission, Stickley, Arts & Crafts is popular. My kitchen was remodeled and inspired by Arts & Craft and I have vintage pieces. I wouod use that set in terms of my taste but with contemporary touches. The second set is Colonial inspired and not seen except in the most traditional style homes and even then probably bought years ago by people your parents’ age who are now downsizing amd so the market is flooded I doubt you could give it away and I mean that literally as my local Good Will will not take any beds - even wood bed frames because of bedbug issues
