Please help me decide what to do with an odd bathroom!
Comments (2)It's hard to tell from the picture what exactly but the bathroom is like. What size is the space with the toilet & sink? If it's small, you could go with a pedestal. They also have some pretty smaller vanities at www.Bertch.com or www.Masterbath.com (Home Depot)Once you decide on vanity or pedestal(get suite so they match), you can decide on tile for the floor. Wainscoting looks great with wallpaper or paint above it with pictures on the wall.I find that picking subtle works best & putting color in the walls or towels, etc. That way I don't tire of it....See MoreNeed help choosing tile for half bathroom floor
Comments (6)Would it be bad to use something like this, even though it is an older style? I am a huge sucker for black and white anything. I don't want to spend a lot of money (not that this is a lot of money at $5.75/square foot at home depot) and then still have the room look like it has the original tile, in case we sell. I like this too, for the same reasons...this is more expensive though, at $15.39/SF (for sale here: http://www.fastfloors.com/catalog/productline.asp?wid=FG8N2D2&productlineid=17937&productid=126165: I also like this, but I'm suspicious of the price ($5.48 for 11.25x11.25). Is the quality bad? this is at home depot. Would marble be better? Or granite? I have no idea what to do....See MoreHow to tile a bathroom using black diamond shaped tiles?
Comments (7)Sorry. I should have mentioned that my vanity countertop is going to be Quartz Praa Sands by Cambria which looks a little busy (so we can hide water drops--Hallway bath). So, I was looking for a less busy monochromatic look. The vanity is white. I was thinking of a larger subway tiles for the wall. Comments (3)I like the hexagons... but I would use plain subways in the shower. Let those hexes be the star!...See MoreRelated Professionals
