what is this vine?

This vine appeared on my orchard fence, growing aggressively up 8 ft and then across the top. It has morning glory like heart-shaped leaves, curling tendrils that it climbs with, but clusters of flat seeds. No flowers visible now. Been fighting the oriental bittersweet for years now, is this some new horrible invasive? I really don't like how fast it grew, but if it's a native I will think before nuking it. Thanks!

Location is Boston suburbs.

Looking at pictures, that is my fear. It's going to get the special cocktail tomorrow that has finally given me the upper hand in the bittersweet battle of the bittersweet.

Who ever thought that maintaining a native plant meadow could be such a pain!

It can be a pest, even if it weren't invasive in some areas. You don't say where you live, but here in TN it can rapidly form impenetrable thickets that smother anything it grows over, which is most anything that doesn't move.

So I'm now thinking it might be Fallopia scandens, climbing bindweed, a New England native. The seeds are completely wrong for the Eurasian bindweed (Convolvulus arvensis) That puts me into more of a conundrum; while it's a native it's also very aggressive. CT regards it as a prohibited invasive, which is a curious designation for a native plant. It's not on the MA invasives list.
