I think a slipcover would be a game changer. I saw a bunch on line. But you need to measure the couch and find one that works and fits. Look at wayfair. Didn’t get to it. But I think it said something about slipcovers on sale. Forgive me if I’m mistaken. I also love the rugs Beverly showed. But I feel like wait on one of those until you have the slip cover. If you move the couch to the window the TV should probably face it. I know you probably didn’t even try it because you thought it would be tight... but play around.

Hi! the room is rather wide, isn't it? Hmmm...If you don't want it too crowded, you may only have room for a couch facing the tv and then two accent chairs on either side. Maybe a couple stools in front of the fireplace that could double as seating but could also be stored away...maybe under a console table under the window to the right of the stairs. I'm not sure you'd have room for a loveseat. Would you be able to buy the couch first to better gauge how much room you'd have? You could also lay out a rectangle on the floor with tape to see what the footprint of the desired couch might be.

The term BOHO, to me, implies a more casual vibe and furnishings focused on comfort rather than a formal room. Not personally a fan of the green rug with the gray sofa and walls but in a BOHO vibe room, it could work with the right accessories to connect the two colors. Unless you have no privacy concerns and are already planning to use only sheers ... and though I am likely the only one that would recommend it ... do at least consider white vertical blinds (vinyl or wood depending upon your budget) for your window-walls. They'll provide more privacy and light control options -- and white blinds tend to visually "disappear" better than reams of fabric hung on the wall. The "dry bar" seems totally irrelevant to the space. Would want the walls of the niche painted the same color as the walls of the room. If this is a rental, I'd add shelving above the base cabinet. If you own this condo, unless you have a specific use for this feature as is, consider removing the cabinets and adding plain bi-fold closet doors installed within the niche and painted the same color as the walls to make them visually disappear as much as possible -- a lot more useful since we all seem to need more closet space. I do like the look of your sofa. You may want to rethink your placement of it, though -- especially if this space is a living / dining combo -- so use your sofa as the room divider. If there is to be a television in this room -- unless you are placement limited by a cable connection -- you may find that putting the television in the corner between the two windows yields the least glare.
