New thermostat wiring for a Weil-McClain EG35W SPDN boiler

I responded to an incentive from my gas company to upgrade my old 2-wire thermostat and purchased a Honeywell thermostat, which requires a third wire, I guess for power (my current thermostat has AA batteries to power the WiFi). I thought the owners' manual for the furnace would tell me how to wire up the third wire, but NaDa. Attached is a photo of the terminals in the furnace (the red and white wires go the current thermostat), can I safely assume that the "W" terminal is for the power wire? I'm guessing that if I measure the voltage on that terminal and it's 24, then my assumption is correct.
