Something to consider in the "money" equation... If you're getting a stone counter, your fabricator will most likely charge you more to "angle the square edge of counter". Fabricators charge extra for angle cuts...whether on an end, on a seating overhang, or a diagonal corner. How much more? I don't know, but I would look into it b/f assuming it would be less expensive to do the angle cut. I know you don't want "grief" about the ROTS, but if you ordered a pullout (door(s) attached & pulls straight out), this would not be an issue! You would need enough filler to clear the door trim of the nearby doorway, but that's all. If it's not too late, it's something to at least consider. (The tall pullouts can be split into 2 or 3 sections...each w/a door and pullout shelves attached so you only need to pull out the section you need.) As to the refrigerator box...yes, the doors must stick out past the alcove, but doors look fine; it's the refrigerator carcass/box that looks "unfinished" when it sticks out. The other thing to check is the walls of your refrigerator carcass...many of them have black walls & SS everywhere else. Just some things to think about!

It looks to me that the face frame on that cabinet covers the hinges so when it's closed, you can't tell it's a door. It just looks like the lower cabinets are inset like the other cabinets in the kitchen. I do wonder how they pull the door closed. You could always contact Farinelli Construction and ask them.

Growing up we had 3 swinging doors leading from the butlers pantry, kitchen, and dining room and even though my mother loved the doors, they didn't have the stops, were heavy to "bum push" open, and were "kid killers"! Every one of us 5 children have a story to relate to being sideswiped by being on the wrong side of the door as it swung in/out. I still have the crooked finger from having the door swing shut with my hand pinched between the frame and door. My wheelchair bound grandmother could never get through the door before it swung back on her. If we'd had the stops that are pictured in your original picture, we surely would have kept the doors installed. When our house was sold, the new owners reinstalled the doors, and were more than happy with the look/effect, but they had no children or wheelchair bound seniors. In my opinion the stops are mandatory to installing the doors.

12 in both upper sections[ pantry upper and wall cab upper] 5 or 7 in for lower pantry and lower cab [ probably 5 in] do both of those the same..... drawer can take 12 in or same as other lower [two of the 5 in or single 12 in] skip the small knob on wall cab idea . keep a simple c or d shape....satin nickel or similar....keep slender diameter .......you can select protrusion of your choice...greater protrusion if lots of various people and frequently used cabinets......if less used cabinets...and .small number people who are careful with use of hands then less protrusion can be nice but this is an issue of wear and tear , think through if it is important.
