Measure your sofa length. A good width for artwork over a sofa is two/thirds the length of the sofa. Round up or down to the nearest standard size. Frame style is a personal preference. As for color, if you like coordinated things, pick art with some blue in it, like the sofa.

Can you post a picture? I am getting a sofa table that will be next to my DR table and I’m having it made by a local craftsman. He’s matching the wood of my table. In my case, legs are white and table a light-medium wood. He’s doing that for the sofa table. A picture will help though.

I like the simplicity of this one, but it’s still lovely and interesting. I don’t know if the size would work, you’ll have to measure for that. I don’t think a candelabra type fixture would be too busy at all ... they’re a classic look with just about anything.
