Potted rose with crown gall removed. OK to plant there philodendron?

Hi there,

I am in Southern, CA. Outside gardening. Last week had to remove and discard a rose that was affected by crown gall. The planter is huge. I couldn't possibly discard the soil. I disinfected it with a 5% bleach solution.

I would like very much to use that planter and the soil in it (with modification) for my Philodendron Monstera that needs to be repotted. And so I searched the Internet up and down to find out if philodendrons are susceptible to crown gall. No success!

Is it's all right to plant my Monstera in that pot using the same soil?

Thanks for reading. I would be thankful for any suggestion/information you may have to offer.
