Slightly less-white white, but still white?
Comments (16)Yes. They painted the whole place in that color, except ceilings and kitchen walls. My kitchen cabinets are that color, too. The kitchen and laundry room have overhead fluorescent lights, and it looks a little more bright white in those rooms, but not so stark as the Ultra Bright. I'm not a decorator, but I do know that how any color will look depends entirely on your lighting and climate. I would suggest comparing the Ultra Bright White chip to a handful of other color chips, to quickly rule out most of them, and get the choices narrowed down. Once you have a small set of possible colors (I'm easily overwhelmed by these kinds of things, so I would make it 5 or less) buy the sample pots, and paint some swatches on posterboard or scrap wood, and try them out for a few days in all of the rooms you're planning to use the color. Look at the colors in all types of light that each room gets, and then pick the one that you like best. You can also do a google search for "white paint" and there's a whole slew of articles that pop up. Do not make paint choices based on an internet picture, or a swatch in the poorly lit paint store, or gawd forbid the paint aisle at Home Depot....See MoreBM White Heron and White/Super White

Comments (1)Do you prefer a stark white or a softer off white? I have used all of those SW colors and they are nice, very bright and crisp. But sometimes the whitest whites can have undertones of gray, pink, blue. My pic of those 3 would be Pure White. And I definitely recommend putting up a 24" x 24" sample, or a few samples, and live with it for a few days as surroundings will affect the color. If you want to try a few other whites from Benjamin Moore- OC118 and OC117 are very nice and neutral. Not too much gray, yellow or pink undertones. See pics below. Comments (44)How about not painting anything and just putting up loads of painting and photos (obviously one's that don't mind stream) - almost everything looks great on a white background especially if the frames are coloured. You could really go for it and make an eclectic yet sleak/clean white bathroom. Just an idea....little blast of colour everywhere, all different sized works....See Morelily316
