Currently renovating our kitchen and looking for some advice on a wall paint color for my kitchen/dining room and back splash ideas. Our new cabinets will be KraftMaid “Warm White” in a shaker style and we will have White Ice granite counter tops. Our home is a traditional style 1925 colonial with orginal dark wood trim and hardwood floors.

I currently have paint color samples for Balboa Mist, Collingwood, and Stonington Gray. Stonington Gray is too cool for the look I am going for. I worry that Balboa Mist might not have enough contrast with warm white cabinets. I am looking for a gray/griege with warm undertones without being too beige.

For a back splash I cannot decided between a classic white subway tile with warm bite grout or an arabesque tile. Would arabesque look good busy with white ice granite?
