Crappy kitchen?

Bought a new construction house a month ago. Been living in it 2 weeks. Due to the pandemic my husband was only able to walk the house 3 times before buying, I could come once before painting and it was 75% done when we made our offer so a few things were done to our specs at the end. Our realtor had to do final walk through and she was concerned before it ab lots of sloppiness. Now that I’m living here I think builder used poor quality materials for our kitchen cabinets! They aren’t dovetailed, which is not the end of world, but the wood dents with the sloghtest bump and paint is cracking. I admittedly should’ve dig deeper but we had to find a house in a weekend due to a big move in a pandemic. I’m thinking he used pine with plywood. Not sure what I can do? I don‘t think this kitchen will last 2 years with our heavy use and 4 kids. So upset!!! Any advice?
