What exterior colors go with light orange brick and a light gray roof?
Comments (7)Favorite go-to exterior color plan is to pull the color from the mortar for the body of the house - or as close to matching the mortar color as you can get. It's neutral and guaranteed to work with what you've got. For the trim, tell your painter/paint mixer person that you want the same mortar-inspired body color **BUT** several shades lighter or darker - your choice. I'd probably go lighter. It's simple, I know, but it's easy for anybody to execute and you end up with curb appeal that's tasteful, cohesive and pulled together....See MoreExterior Paint color given the roof (dark brown) and brick
Comments (3)Gray with darker gray trim or even black trim would look good. What is your budget? Does it allow for a new garage door? I agree with going with the MCM vibe. The gray would probably need to be a warmer gray so it doesn't fight with the brick. Comments (9)Your home is Contemporary, but not Colonial by any definition. All of your evergreens have hit their 'sell by' date. They are overgrown covering your windows and cannot be trimmed into any viable shapes. Look at Superdeck.com for Their Duck Back stains for your home. Here is the color chart I would recommend you select a weathered driftwood stain for your home and possibly consider a corrugated metal roof for your home. To complement the new stain I would recommend the driveway be overlayed with a Chip or Macadam stone driveway. The contractor sprays some tar on the existing asphalt driveway spreads stone like a pea gravel and then rolls over the stone to press the new layer into the tar. I think it could be a handsome finish to your home....See MoreMulti Brown Brick Roof Color
Comments (11)I'm so sorry you got hit by a tornado, how awful. Your house has brick siding and stone siding. You are right, I would look at a style with less of a contrast within the shingles so the overall effect of house and roof is a little less busy. I went to the Owens Corining website and their selections are based on location. What state do you live in? I would love to see what is available in your area. If you don't like the monchomatic look then choose something light or dark but darker is less practical as it absorbs more heat. You could go wih either warm tones or cool tones with your house colors. I like the Driftwood but in a darker shade would be nice. You have some darker bricks so it would work great.
