wood panel dishwashers
Comments (15)I had Stevielee's same problem years ago Those dishwashers with *framed doors* to insert a **custom panel** don' exist anymore since a long time. I had this stoneage Miele This one in the pic hasn't frames. Mine - G507U - had a framed door panel and a further panel between door and toekick. When I replaced it years ago, I was not able to reuse the two custom panels that matched kitchen cabinets because newer undercounter DWs came with a longer door without a separated panel under it and also came without frames, as since then were used custom doors and integrated machines. That's why I bought a stainless door DW The Miele Antss linked (and that Dodge owns) is a **partially integrated** model with visible controls that needs a true custom door (usually is a door that matches a cabinet with a drawer ) and **does not fit a simple, thin custom panels. Not only Smeg and Miele, also Bosch/Siemens AEG/Zanussi/Electrolux EU, Whirlpool EU make these integrated models with visible controls...See MoreShow Me Your Wood Paneled Dishwasher Please!
Comments (13)About all you need to do is get a dishwasher made to take a panel ("integrated" models) which come, as these things so often do, with a surcharge, although in essence you're getting less for the money (they come with no front at all). The literature will tell you the exact dimensions of the panel you'll need, and it screws on very easily (I did it myself with a friend to help hold it). You can just pass on the dimensions to your cabinet company or carpenter. There are also a number of independent companies that make panels in a zillion styles and materials (Frigo, Heartland, etc)....See Moreneed help finding this clever finger pull
Comments (20)i know the berenson bravo ones that joaniepoanie used in her kitchen can be purchased in 8 foot lengths that can then be cut to custom sizes. because they are aluminum, they are not difficult to cut, though i think maybe you might need to practice a few times to get the cut clean. but this would be a very economical route. Here is a link that might be useful: bravo pulls...See MoreWill these appliance finger pulls work for refrigerator column?
Comments (12)As ringreation mentioned, SZ fridges need a real tug to open them. Quite a hard tug. I recommend you go to an appliance store that carries them and see for yourself. I doubt the finger pulls you linked will give you enough grip. There’s a ton of minimalist kitchen photos online with SZ fridges. Look at those for inspiration. Your zeal for minimalism may get in the way of functionality....See Morevenmar
