The bronze would be my first choice and the lighter sandstone second. Do the doors you are considering come in different styles? The style could make a difference.

Agree with above. Those yellow lights aren't flattering. Paint your white side door that bronze color. I would trim those two bushes hiding your entryway. Add a tall bright orange or blue planter or make a group of 3 different heights where your have the small brown one. they should be tall to medium height. Add a color rocker to your porch that matches the planters. Switch your lighting for sure to LED. I really like your cabin look

So it seems most like the darker bronze color, as opposed to the sandstone which is similar to the siding color. There is no direct sunlight on this side of the house, will the bronze be too dark?

Here are a couple snips from the CHI garage door app that places the colors on the house. The sandstone color looks off in the app in comparison to real life.

Guess it’s unanimous, bronze. And I’d replace those carriage lights as others have said.

I particularly love the stain on your home. I would leave it as is. That transparent stain is particularly in vogue now. No paint over the cedar unless you want to start scraping every few years.

IMO I would either get a door just like you have or maybe consider a garage door that is a bit more contemporary with the translucent panels. Larger coach lights are required around the garage door.

I think the sandstone color would be nice in the regard that you could then use that lighter color on your front door ,as well , to bring that area out of the shadows. The front entry, as it is now, is barely visible . It just disappears into a dark hole. It would be nice to have the garage door and front door match. So, even though I like the bronze garage door, as do most people, that is my thought behind choosing the imo. equally attractive sandstone color.

I'm sorta leaning towards the bronze, I fear the sandstone may clash with the siding as it is fairly similar but not quite the same.

Well some bad news, I was not able to change the color of the doors I ordered about a week ago, as they are already in production. I didn't put enough thought into it, just ordered white doors. Which means I will have to likely paint the doors. Ugh, feel gutted that I screwed this up. Clearly I have a lot to learn when it comes to this stuff.

that's ok mark. you can always paint. Are you sure they won't let you switch it? isn't it a standard size door? (as opposed to a special order). seems to me if it's standard, and white is so common, they'd let you switch it.

I think SW Urbane Bronze will be a close match to what you wanted. (or Iron Ore).

Thanks Beth, I’ll get the hardware for sure! I called again and told them there has to be a way to change it. They are getting the sales manager involved to hopefully work some magic. Will know more tomorrow. One size is 16’ standard size, the other is a bit less standard at 12’ but not that uncommon.
