Your dining area and furnishings are not ornate enough to support a crystal chandelier. Select a multi light chandelier with fabric shades, paint the walls and select some color coordinated drapery panels.

That thundercloud is an awesome color. Try that. Before you start changing things, please get a cohesive plan. What do you want the end product to be? Make room by getting some wall hangers to get the bikes out of the way. Use the chaise part of the sofa in a bedroom. Do you use all 6 dining chairs? Logically the table should go under the chandelier, but the doorway and the way the windows open will hinder that. Perhaps move the buffet to the opposite wall (where all the chairs are) and put the table against the blue wall with a chair at each end and two on the side so they face the wall. Use the 2 extra chairs somewhere else. Get additional electrical cording and chain so you can swag the chandelier over the table.
