Is Miele dishwasher quick wash cycle good enough for general loads?

We currently have an 8 yr old bosch dishwasher that may be on its last leg (pump is making concerning noises on startup). I am looking at replacing it with another bosch or a miele. Reportedy the miele can hold more/loads more easily. However, I’ve seen mixed reviews on how well the quick cleaning cycle works for general loads (defined as mostly rinsed plates, bowls, flatware, cups, glasses, plastic wear). The short cleaning cycle that works well on Bosch is a huge plus! I am soliciting more feedback on Mieles‘s short cleaning cycle. Could it be used as our default wash cycle for general loads?

Additionally, Miele owners, does the Miele release steam during dish drying? Our old kitchen aid did and it damaged the cabinets. Our Bosch does not.

Any other tips on models or things to think about with regards to Miele dishwashers? Normally, I would not buy a dishwasher without seeing it in person but we are social distancing and staying out of stores so that’s not an option. Any and all input is appreciated!
