Yes, they will. It’s very difficult to match up various tiles on your own. We are now in the process of a master bathroom renovation.

I am not a decorator! I look for selections that are put together for me. So, wall tile with matching floor and shower.

We are doing a polished wall, small squares in matte and the large floor tiles in matte that coordinate with the polished wall tiles.

I am nervous about slipping so I prefer matte in the shower.

Go back to the tile shop and look at selections that are already coordinated.

When we began this project I thought I could coordinate tiles myself, but after bringing home countless samples, I realized this wasn’t going to work.

I wouldn't do the large hex on the walls. Consider using it on the main floor, with the white hex as the shower floor and then a larger subway for the walls, gray would be OK.

Kelly, ask for tile boards that are already coordinated.

Not necessarily. Here’s my oldest daughter tiny East Village bathroom. We used large tiles on walls. Fro the floors my husband picked through and found tiles that did not have a lot if pattern, and they became the floor.

It really is overwhelming. Many things can work, but some don’t and you want to avoid that.

i would choose one element that you like and google. Gray hexagon floor tiles in a bathroom. See what comes up. Get inspiration.

The easiest is to go for the collections that are made to go together. Why reinvent the wheel?

Large hex for the walls is great. Lose the dark gray penny rounds and just use the smaller hexes for both the shower floor and the bathroom floor.

Kelly, that last tiles you show just look so drab, sad and depressing ... like a 50 year old dirty concrete patio. I think you want to pick something light and bright for a windowless bathroom. Those pebble tiles don't usually look so good after they are installed and do you really want to clean all that extra grout.

This is what the designer picked out. The white subway has wavy lines that i thought would make me crazy bc the tikes would not seem straight

be sure you know the skill level of your tile setter -- we see tons of complaints from people using both pennies and pebble mosaics that end up with a clear grid of the sheets. it takes a skilled and patient setter to take the mosaics apart at the edges and hand place them to make it all run together. if you're not sure you have that skilled a guy, pick something simpler. I like the idea of keeping the big hexes on walls, and using the small ones on floors everywhere.

Not sure I would use those wavy tiles on a shower wall. I like to squeegee the shower walls and glass door and those tiles wouldn't be the best for that.

Pebbles are popular in the showrooms now. They look nice, but I was also afraid of slipping.

Best to stay with a matte tile for the shower floor.

How about a regular subway for the walls, use the gray for the floor as long as it is matte finished, then a mosaic gray mix for the shower floor.

Use the gray in the floor tile as your guide to match the shower floor tiles.

No marble. It is slippery and we kept being talked into putting stuff on it which was ridiculous to do to a new floor.
