its not the wall its the table size and also everything needs to move left about 6-8 inches. more stuff on the wall will only make the table look smaller.

Hi Seong. What a nice space! You’ve got a blank slate to work with, which is fun. If it were my room ... leave three or four feet open by the window. You might place a chair there for a reading nook. place the tv on the staircase wall. place a bookcase directly opposite the TV. have two matching sofas facing each other, one facing away from the window, one facing toward it. Coffee table between. The sofa lengths need to leave at least three feet of walking space from the front door to the kitchen. The length should also not overlap the bookcase opposite the TV, or be at least six inches from the wall. Have a buffet with lamps behind the sofa toward the dining area. (It needs to be shorter than the sofa. Also, don’t exceed the sofa length.) Leave the wall in the dining area free for a huge piece of art. Your house can handle a lot of different styles, contemporary to traditional. So go with what appeals to you. Ivory or blue (I assume you mean a medium to light blue) would both be nice. An ivory rug will show more dirt. At least that encourages more frequent cleaning! Measure everything twice at the store and lay it out on your floor with newspaper before you buy anything! I was hoping with some artwork and a vase it wouldn’t look so awkward 🤷🏼‍♀️ lol @Sammie J I’ve seen so many inspo pictures with an arched mirror in the living room and thought how much it elevated the room but I guess it didn’t work out for me. I was thinking maybe a white jute rug since there is a lot of shades of beiges/cream. @BeverlyFLADeziner When we moved in that was our initial plan to have that same layout but we didn’t want to have the couches up against the window and the fireplace is positioned in a corner(living room layout is very odd). I really love the mirror but i guess it will have to go 😔
