Hi, We have this same Kohler's vanity and sink in our powder room and went for the AquaBrass "Hey Joe" faucet which I do NOT recommend. The lever got too stiff very fast and it is very hard to control the flow and the temperature of the water. If I could re-do it I'd go for one of Grohe's faucets. For the lighting fixture we chose a European glass one in frosted white and dark brown (to match the vanity) and we are really happy with it (see the link below). It is an above-mirror fixture though, not a ceiling one. The store we got it from had ceiling fixtures too, very nice ones that would match nicely. meg, believe it or not, originally the main bathroom had NO door entering it and was open to the rest of the house ... only the little toilet cubicle inside had a separate door. That worked for us as long as the kids were little but now with 2 preteen girls it just didn't do it anymore. When we designed the new door it was rather difficult to come up with a solution, especially as there was no way we could have matched the stucco walls. The glass over the door works very well with the openess of the rest of the house.

Center one cool light fixture at the ceiling vault. Skip the pendants, over the dining table. Lamps where appropriate on end tables at sofa, lamp on any serving piece in the dining area. There's no way to plan it, or the room, or the lighting without dimensions for the room, and furniture placed on a floor plan within that drawing WITH dimensions.
