Bathroom vanity undermount sink shape advice, under cabinet lighting

Just completed demo phase on a tiny 5x7 ensuite master bathroom and need some advice on sink selection and under cabinet down lighting.

We're getting a floating walnut vanity built: 24(ish)H x 24"L x 20"D. Awaiting cabinet maker's drawings but requested: false top drawer, two 8" drawers below (7'' inside).

Purchased a Brizo Litze wall mounted single faucet and expect to use a Quartz countertop.

This is a very small master bathroom so storage, counter space and functionality are critical.

Curious about a few things:

How much does the shape (circle, oval, rectangle, square) of an undermount sink correlate to;

  • countertop real estate
  • cabinet storage space
  • splash (does depth/shape correlate to splash or does a good plumber mitigate?)
  • clean up (are some designs (eg angled bottom) easier to keep clean than others?

What about undercounter mood lighting? Should we ask the cabinet maker to build in cans or strips or do ourselves after?

Thanks in advance
