Need help with Console table decor

I recently bought a console table. it’s placed beneath the staircase. Please help me choosing the right shape and size of the mirror.

1- black or chrome metal frame
2- round, square, rectangular or irregular
3- should it be placed in the middle of the table or placed in the right side ( where the wall is the longest.

If there are any other idea, please do share 🙏🙏

Cool table! Have you seen any mirrors that you like? I think something in chrome could be good, to mimic the color of the table base. Then I’d add color with the accessories on the table.

You could have a glass company come out and cut the mirror to echo the lines of the wall (with some space allowing for a frame), then frame around it.

Yes, I did read the same thing after your last post. So that particular mirror may be slightly off in width if my math is correct. Good thing about the quatrefoil mirrors, if that is what you chose, you can most likely find another that is wider. I would take some newspaper or something else and cut out a paper version of the mirror in those same measurments. Tape it up with some painter's tape in the space to help you visualize.

To me there needs to be a purpose for things to make sense. So what is the purpose of that console table being there? Do you need lighting (so you need a lamp on it)? If you don't NEED it to be there, then that's your cue that it doesn't belong there. I really can't see what you would put in a basket right there, so I would not start trying to decorate with just more things that don't make sense. I can't see any purpose that that table would play there, so I would remove it. And instead of those 4 pictures, I would hang one large piece of art.

I may get another mirror table top but I still need the big mirror for my hair and things. a lil mirror will not do just for my makeup etc. I always said the writting desk was going to be use as vanity and act as a area you can use for your laptop. I agree with the console table. I am thinking about doing like a rectangular gold dish and a orchid plant. I wanted him to place the TV at that height just in case I was going to add some type of tall vase or pillars candles.

scaling off of the first photo I think both of those lack the "beefiness" or size I think the space needs. What else do you plan to put on that wall? Plants? Area rug? I think you need to plan the complete look. Is there a coat closet? A place to put shoes etc? What will be in the adjoined room finish wise?

I think a round mirror centered could look nice and help simplify the area as there are a lot of angles going on

I looked at several different mirror from simple looking to more ornate and I think a simple black metal frame.would work best as the console is unique and so a simple frame will not compete with the console... middle option on left of this collage
