Australian birchwood floors—can they be lightened to white oak finish

We just bought a home and it has this almost yellowish shiny Australian birchwood engineered floors throughout. We are remodeling the home for a modern farmhouse look and such yellow / dark floors will not support that look. Can these floors be replaced for a finish like this? https://www.houzz.com/photos/solid-french-wire-brushed-white-oak-contemporary-patio-orange-county-phvw-vp~2475261 or..... https://www.wayfair.com/home-improvement/pdp/mohawk-flooring-coastal-allure-oak-38-thick-x-7-wide-x-varying-length-engineered-hardwood-flooring-w001529873.html?piid=2088342592.

We live in San Jose, California. Not sure how much we should expect to get these refinished or replaced. The floors were installed just last year, so we'd feel really bummed if we had to replace (and the added cost). But can't also live with these yellow shiny specky floors :-)

Thanks in advance for all your help.
