I wanted to thank everyone for their generous time for input. We decided to go with the Moire black - one shade darker than the Pewterwood. It was close, but in the end I plan on keeping the house white and I think I can get away with a dark roof - I have moments of cold feet since the Moire roof in photos has looked really dark, but I do love the bold look of the white houses with dark roofs (Studio McGee did one I just keep gazing at) so I thought why not. - Thanks, I know more next week when one section of the roof is complete.

Opinion: Since your home is large, you could benefit from some darker contrast. Brown would go great with your hand rails and really make your door pop. Maybe a couple blue planters at ground level on either side of the front stairs, to tie it together. in the same I can't tell what color your lightpost is, but that's easy to spray paint or powder coat to match. If you live in an area that gets any wind, GAF Timberline HDZ is an excellent product. As to color, different ones are available in different regions. I would say Shakewood would be warm and cozy or Barkwood would be dramatic and elegant. (Teak, mentioned above would be a bold and suitable choice. I get the sense that Driftwood would be a little chaotic for you; it's very nice but has diverse colorations and you seem to like a more tidy style.) Would painting the eaves dark make it look too heavy for you? Here’s another pic from Pinterest. We painted our eves black to match our windows. It was a scary choice at the time, but it looks great. I’ve seen this a lot lately. I feel like it modernizes it a bit.

have no idea what those roof colors look like, so post a pic. Nevermind, I did the work and looked them up. this is burnt sienna. It's very varigated and is going to compete w/your driveway pattern. Weathered wood on the left. works w/your house color, clashes w/your driveway. Because of your driveway, it would be best if you got one solid color roof tile. can you do a clay tile? Do you have plans on painting the stucco in the future? Much better colors to work w/your driveway. because of that driveway color, your stucco, or at the minimum your garage doors, should have a diff color. your driveway pavers are somewhat driving the color bus. you'll have to pick roof tiles that word w/those, as well as the stucco color. I actually like this combo. Timberline Wheat, with better colors for the house.
