Hello! My name's Christine and I am a Luxury Sales Manager for House of Rohl in Northern California. This finish is most certainly our Tuscan Brass which is designed to patina and change over time. Our unlacquered brass starts as a shiny finish and will turn over time as well. In spite of what I'm seeing in some of these comments, this is not a poor quality finish as it is performing as it's designed. Some clients want a finish that will change and live with the product and others want something more "maintenance-free". If you're looking for something more uniform, our Perrin & Rowe English Bronze finish might be more to your liking.

It's worth noting that a new faucet in Tuscan Brass will appear very dark at first so they will not match right away. Over time, the patina will happen and they will match more closely.
