We are getting ready to paint the exterior of our home which is currently tan with a cream colored siding. It's a 4000 sq ft colonial in a private neighborhood. It sits off the road, up on a slight hill and is surrounded my mature trees, flowers and landscaping with an attached 2 car garage. I've chosen a main body color called Bonsai Trunk by Behr. It's a "moody" olive color with gray undertones. We will be using a combination of paint and neutral cedar tone stain for both decks, but I am having a heck of a time figuring out a trim color. I'd prefer to stay away from a stark white and use something a little more complimentary to the color at hand, but I'm stuck. I know most of the time it will loom olive, but there may be points in the day where the gray tones may be more prominent. Any and all advice would be appreciated.
