Paint Home Decorating Design Dilemma

Help me pick a paint color for bathroom?

Will need to pick a color in the next day or two, the contractors are starting to finish the tiling work. This bathroom is for my boys, I could use some suggestions for a BM color paint for the drywall above the white tile that will be painted which isn't much.

West facing window, this is 5pm light.

Thank you so much for any suggestions!

Love the penny tiles and the subway tiles…small/round/rectangular.

I vote for a wallpaper.

I would look for a fun vinyl wallpaper in a pattern the boys like make sure you prep the walls properly so in a couple of years when they change their mind it is easy to replace .Not sure of the ages so these are just some BTW the graphic can be done but it is some work but awesome when finished

I love gray owl-- but I disagree with the poster who said it has no undertones. I have it in my bedroom and LOVE it. It is fresh and clean and very relaxing but it definitely has has a blue-green tone in my room. Beekeeperswife has gray owl in her home and in her space it does read much more neutral but every bit as fresh and clean. I recommend that you do as KSWL suggests-- test your paint samples on a poster board and check them in your room with your finishes.

I checked out accesible beige and it doesnt work well with my blue pearl granite. I now thinking alabaster. My trim and ceiling are alabaster so it may have to be this color.

I would like a lemony yellow..to sort of reflect the natural light ...then look for some things personal to the boys to frame for the walls..or have them do drawings using turquoise ..yellow..and royal blue sharpies...to frame simply and display...you could pick a fun...colorful ...shower curtain and use those colors for the sharpie pics...

A watery turquoise pulled from the floor tile colours would be my choice. Something like BM 753 Picture Perfect.
