Does wall height affect how well removable wallpaper adheres?

We're thinking of putting removable vinyl grasscloth wallpaper on a high accent wall in our living room. The existing painted surface is slightly textured, so while vinyl will adhere, it's not as solid as it would be if the wall were completely smooth. I wouldn't worry about it slumping if it were a normal height wall, but this one is over 16 feet high. Does the height of the wall, and therefore the weight of the wallpaper, affect how likely the paper is to slump? If so, would putting a trim piece across the top help support it? (I know I could use lining paper, but that defeats the purpose of "removable.")
