White Exterior Paint Color

We’re going to be painting our brick soon and I’d love recommendations for a white brick color. We’re going to do a black roof, black shutters on the windows, and black garage door. It will be similar to the picture shown. Also is a picture of our actual house. I’m torn between SW Pure White, Alabaster, and Snowbound. Which would you recommend?

If the third picture is your house, leave it as is and do some serious landscaping.

I would do a lime wash rather than paint, it is reversible, paint is not. I agree your place needs landscaping first.

I used BM Swiss Coffee inside for all my trim and doors in a prior home. I loved the softness of it and it never seemed cream - more of a true white. I need to ask BM if their formula has changed over the years because on the paint chip it looks more yellow. I am getting ready to paint my house and I want to use it for the trim but I want the soft white I remember.

What's appealing to you about off white? Your trim is not prominent so it won't add much to have color there. I think the combo you have is very complimentary to the stone and roof. Nice house!

Look at BM distant grey it is a lovely white. You will get a lot of opinions about painting brick here, personally I love painted brick and many historical buildings are painted brick.

I forgot to mention that was the house when we bought it, so we have changed up the landscaping. We also added on a huge patio extension and they do not make our old brick anymore, so it does not match exactly. We do want to paint it so it will all be the same. See updated pics.

Romabio's Avorio is extremely close to Benjamin Moore's White Dove.
