Looking for enablers - handbag shopping
Comments (117)"Looking for enablers" . . . and reeling in all of us hopeless handbag addicts, too (LOL)! Oh my gosh, there are so many seriously wonderful handbags on this thread! My handbag storage is as crammed as Spanish's, if not more! And I passed along my addiction on to my sweet DD. Her birthday is later this month and what does she want for gifts from us? More handbags! And so, I've just bought her a gorgeous rolling tote bag, and now a beautiful dress purse from Karl Lagerfeld. It was honestly very hard not to keep them both for myself! Hmmm, but my Summer bag is getting a bit shabby, so perhaps I'll take another stroll through this bad boy thread (LOL)!...See MoreEaster 2020 dinner?
Comments (69)I think I made the layered salad once many years ago for some kind of party. At the time I was quite put off by the iceberg lettuce (ick) and the mayonnaise, to say nothing of the bacon, but it was easy and could be made ahead of time. Haven't thought of that recipes in years, but thanks to this thread I went on a search of ways to modify the recipe to make a healthy version, similar to what Seagrass mentioned above. I dunno though, it just doesn't spark joy for me so I think I will pass. Thanks for GC Science I MUST make a lemon meringue pie today. Now that sparks joy and is a better use of sugar!...See MoreDreams, homes, and dream homes
Comments (30)I remember wanting to be an architect or ID when I was young, and took drafting as well! I remember drawing up floor plans and sketching out elevations. And had an AD subscription. So many similar stories here... We are always looking at new houses, both locally and well as in other locations in the US and overseas. I think my ideal US home is currently a Spanish Mission one story with a central courtyard and ideally, a casita. We rarely see them come on the market as they are coveted around here. I'm always finding my spouse having left web pages open to housing sites and videos. Overseas, I love looking at the Christie's, Sotheby's and Coldwell Banker International sites, as well as more practical ones. This French firm curates unusual properties and this Italian Christie's affiliate produces aspirational Youtuber video tours of listings. HHI actually does solicit applicants on the expat FB groups I belong, as did my property consultant. You do it after you've purchased or rented. However, I do think many people with something to promote do participate (it takes like 4 or 5 days to film)....See MoreTime for summer purse shopping?
Comments (109)Target does have some great stuff right now! I had never looked at their handbags before, mainly because I've never been into purses and only bought expensive ones that would last for years (I had a black Coach with the divets on the bottom which I happily carried around for a decade). But I'm in need of something to tote around town, and particularly now that farmer's markets are back up and running. I was in Target yesterday evening and spotted these two... nothing fancy, and right up my alley....See Moremartinca_gw sunset zone 24
