Low Maintenance Deck Post & Rail: Looks Like Wood -reasonably priced?

Nan Smith

We are replacing our railings need advice on finding the best option for a timeless, maintenance free post and rails for our deck. For a variety of reasons (including code issues) we have decided to go with traditional look white post and rails and are exploring our composite/pvc railing options. Our deck is IPE wood (will be staining light chestnut) and replacing the railings.

What composite looks like real wood for a reasonable price? Do you have experience with or RECOMMENDATION on the following Options:

1) RDI Transform Railings & Post - approx $40 linear foot.

2) Walpole Azek for $100 linear foot (seems a bit expensive).

3) TimberTech Premier Rail by Azek $40 linear foot.

4) Intex Hampton Railing system - approx. $75 linear foot.

Is Walpole and Intex worth the extra upfront costs?

Finally, am I missing something--is there a brand or option that you pros would recommend that are not on my list? Thanks for the help!
