Kalm's St. John's Wort seed

I'm interested in growing any variety of Hypericum kalmianum (Kalm's St. John's Wort). There are a few commercial varieties (e.g. Ames, Gemo, Blues Festival). However, I want to grow a LOT of it (300 ft fence line) and in one season (the 2021 season). So my question is about seed.

I wanna know if it is wise so I figured these are the important factors.

Do any of the varieties grow true to the parent from seed?

Is seed propagating a patented variety legal?

Are there any non-patented varieties I can get in potted form?

Finally and most importantly, WHERE CAN I BUY THE SEED?

I was only able to find: https://botanicallyinclined.org/seeds-shop/hypericum-kalmianum-buy-seeds/?fbclid=IwAR1KqsC5iRG-68XtzbUfu8KViqXfaOyndBsVjP97plEUP90DIXqH8obMnNQ

I'm not sure I trust that source because I'm not sure the wild type will grow uniformly, or even be the right species.
