Concrete vs Hypertufa containers?
Comments (9)Hahaha, that's hilarious Al! I took a closer look but I couldn't identify any pinwheels or butterflies or alphabet letters in your pics. I have someone on the hypertufa forum telling me she doesn't bother drilling drain holes because the hypertufa wicks water away just fine without them and her plants do great long-term in her pots. I wonder if different recipes have different effects as far as whether they "breath" or "wick"? I am trying to find out what recipe she is using to figure out why hers wick and mine don't seem to....See MoreNEED CURB APPEAL, ASAP!! PLEASE HELP!!
Comments (156)Brettfelouzis, then the size of the light should be between 20” and 24” long. You could get away with 20” I think. Here’s what I did:: took some painter’s tape and marked out the lengths of the lights I considered by the door. Then I knew which way I was leaning. The “heaviness” of the light plays a role I think, as well. The more metal there is, the more presence it has and thus is visually heavier and in such a case, I would likely choose a 20” option. This is an example from my garage (my front door has a pendant, otherwise I would show it), these are 20” long. I would have gone longer but we couldn’t find any we liked. In the end, you just have to try the light out and if you don’t like it, return it....See MorePlease Help! Help Needed ASAP

Comments (0)I'm doing some renos to a 30 year old house that used to be my parents' house. One decision leads to another and next thing you know you're redoing the whole house! I have ordered white vinyl replacement windows (no dividers) and am now regretting it, but it's too late. They are installing as I speak. I need help deciding what color to paint the trim. Please see the photo of the house below, taken before the new white window install. The second photo is just to show you what the new front doors will look like (stained wood with 6 lights, but double doors) I've thought of using white on the trim, but do I try to match the windows, go warmer and creamier, or something else? I'm all "decisioned" out!...See Moreremodeling1840
