Comments (16)Wow thanks everybody! Sara-Ann I live to enable.... hee-hee! Karen, I dunno about the blue tones. Maybe it's just certain times of the yr. Sometimes these are a bit more mauve. Kentucky_rose PARFUM DE GRASSE might be ok for a cut rose. It lasts a few days. The color is amazing. So vivid! As far as the scent, I haven't checked it. This time of yr I don't detect much scent on my roses. I'll hafta go check it out. Irisgal, yes I do have ESTHER GELDENHUYS. As a matter of fact I had to replace my old one this yr. I had originally gotten her from Hortico many yrs ago. A couple of yrs ago she died down to the ground, but came back to do "ok" for a yr. Then this last yr she died again, so I replaced her with an own-root one from Burling. She's still too small to put in the ground yet tho. Carol, I am absolutely amazed at how wonderful that BLUE SUEDE SHOES is. It has been blooming almost non-stop all season. The colors change and they sometimes have that darker ruby edge, and sometimes they don't and sometimes it's more purple than ruby. Love it, love it, love it! I highly recommend this rose to anyone who likes lavenders and minis! Blooms average around 1 3/4" to 2" at the most....See MoreBlooms the last couple of days...
