Need help with curtains/window coverings
Comments (4)Well you can't hang panels on the inside part, between the fireplace and no space there, and from the pic it doesn't look like you have enough space on the outsides, either. I think I'd head over to Country Curtains and check out their faux romans. Several of the colors shown would work. Just hang over the top windows....See MoreCurtains or other window covering ?

Comments (1)I like drapes in bedrooms and in your case probably ones that wrapa round that corner but IMO we need to see the bedroom to advise about what type of drapery....See MoreRecommendations on kitchen window coverings?
Comments (5)Not sure why automatic blinds are out of the question as this is a perfect application. You won't be able to reach the top of the window very easily unless you are really tall so you will either need automatic/electronic blind or a blind with a cord (my last house we had cordless and I couldn't open it all the way). We installed electronic blinds in the living space of our current home and I love them. Wish I had done them in more places. They don't HAVE to be smart; just having a remote is great (we added the smart feature so we could set the shades to open in the morning & close in the evening). We did whitish fabric roller shades (they're not solid - kind of heathered). I don't see top/down bottom/up working for you here. I think a roller shade as long as it has a cord would be fine (best cord option would be the loop so it's easily accessible, not the pull down). We did hunter douglas for ours (our window treatment place said their electronic blinds function better than other brands) but there are less expensive options. A lot of people like Levolor....See MoreHome Interiors with Ease
