Sun and Slugs!!

djacob Z6a SE WI

I cut a new bed specifically for some new hostas that are sun tolerant. I read up on each plant and correspondEd with venders about light conditions. Many of you gave me input as well. I am having problems with sun burn and in spite of being drenched for slugs as soon as it was planted, I started to notice nibbles on new leaves. Some other plants have nibbles too in other parts of the garden and I am treating those as well. But I am most bothered by the sun burn. This bed gets sun from 9-1:30.

Any recommendations welcome. All of these plants were planted late May-early June.

Sorry pics are turned. Queen Josephine.

Holy Mouse Ears. I moved this to the back of the bed for more shade. Hasn’t helped.
